Tom Brady Press Conference Satire or (wishful thinking)

Upon Sunday night’s 37-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Tom Brady has reportedly announced his immediate retirement from the NFL. In what has shocked the entire nation, the man known as ‘the G.O.A.T to many, is disappointing his fans and leaving a question mark on “the game [he] once loved.” (Tom Brady)

The press conference is being held outside of Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, November 11th at 11:00 am EST. While the frigid temperatures may hold you inside all weekend, I suggest that you unpack your winter coat and bundle yourself up to come see this for yourself. It has been made clear that any and all forms of the media are allowed to attend and ask questions, including a few lucky fans, Brady told Adam Schefter. Nobody will be excluded.

Brady additionally said, “It has taken a lot of time for me to make up my mind, and I was not alone in this decision. I just want to set the record straight, and not leave a bad taste in the mouths of any of my loyal Patriot fans.” If that isn’t enticing enough for you to go out and watch for yourself, maybe you’re in the wrong profession. However, if you are unlucky enough to have contracted an early case of the flu, the press conference will be aired live from ESPN+, and to a select few people on Facebook and Instagram live.

There are hundreds of questions and just as many theories swirling around, but what I want to see is how the fans will treat Tom. Will he get boos after all he’s done for the city of Boston, or cheers from opposing fans and die-hard Patriot fans that come to see their hero? My prediction, bring a box of Kleenex with you.

With the jaws of millions dislocated from the sudden drop, it will be interesting to see... to say the least... what Tom Brady will say, how long he will be at the podium, and if he answers the question that everyone wants to know: Why now?
